Well, I also have upgraded my B&W Processor with an XLR8  G4 500

Also, I thought all the V2 MOBO did (?)  was to update  the IDE 
Controller chip to correct the master-slave problem in V1. I dont think 
that the basic B&W system architecture was affected.

The ASP is an  Utilities Application
Also,  I believe that  the the Apple menu is located somewhere in the  
System  Folder.

To work, there has to be a link between the Get info Button   and the 
ASP Application. And I would think that installing 10.2  from the Apple 
CD would supply this

But , a real mystery to me !. Your equipment does it and  mine doesn't
