When you have a flat tire on your car would you rather change it yourself with a full size spare? Change the flat to a speed slowing temporary spare? Use your auto club towing? Or have a tow truck follow you around wherever you go just in case. Since I can change a tire all by myself, I'll opt for the full size spare and replace that after the tire goes flat. I guess my point is that everything has a purpose, each with its pros and cons. But getting from point A to point B is all that counts. Does that make any sense? By the way I have full sized spares and an auto club membership just in case.
