I would first check with other Gamers that have 7000 cards. From what I have read the 7000 doesnt compare witht he gaming speed of the Mac Radeon, you may not be getting any more of a gaming card with the 7000 than you have with the Rage < assuming it is a 16mb > xlr8.com is a good place to find reviews and comparisons. dealmac.com will find you a cheap 7000 usually around $100 give or take. being a hard-core game player at times I replaced my voodoo5 64mb with a Mac Radeon 32mb for two reasons 1. I found one at a great price ($100/used> and 2.anything made in the last year or so, and ones to come, wont be very compatible with any other options other than the redeon/ati and... its the only real option for pci game players. only other option I concidered is flashing a 32mb Geforce from pc-> mac. but went the other way < radeon> since not enough success stories in that area. hth Ralph -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
