No picture on monitor - G3 DT I'm trying to set up a G3 DT for a friend This is what it's suppposed to be.
G3 DT - 266/4gig/192ram/2megs video/Rom A OS 9.1 Can't get a picture on the monitor. I can hear it boot up and can hear the extensions setting up Monitor is on and seems to get a little lighter - but no picture. I've forced it to boot from an external emergency drive and can hear it boot to that, also - but still so picture. The monitor works fine with my G3 MT - same cable. I've reseated and reconnected - everything that I know to do - several times. The 3 ram slots are filled. There is a little card next to the ram that I assume is the 2 meg video ram. The ribbon connects seem to be seated OK. Also - the little on/off burron on front of computer is unconnected from the inside trigger. How can I reconnect it ? It boots from the keyboard.
