Since it has dual "G4" processors I would like to think so.

dual 1 Ghz Xserve running 10.1.5 ($20 and my order for 10.2 enroute to
apple)
2 Gb of RAM
480 Gb of drive space...(1) 120 Gb drive used as boot drive and the
other (3) drives in a striped raid configuration
and an ultrawide scsi micronet raid.

Anyway...my dilemma. After waiting nearly 2 months for it to arrive, and
another 2 weeks for the drives to arrive I have my Xserve online. Only
it has a fondness for doing the following 2 quirky things.

A. Intermittently throughout the day it will drop the clients even
though the servers are working fine. and they are immediately available
for remount.

and B. on 2 occasions now it has rebooted itself only to come up showing
the boot drive as the only thing available to clients (the internal raid
and the external raid are no where to be seen). the first time applecare
walked me through a commandline "fsck" which did find a invalid leaf, it
fixed it and rebooted fine, servers returned. But 12 hours later here I
am since it did it again.

Sadly the $795 I spent on the extended applecare premium service and
support plan didn't do me much good. the 800 number asked me for the
certificate number and then told me it was invalid after I input it. so
much for 24hour phone support.

So if anyone has any ideas...I would greatly appreciate it.

thanks,
chet
