I have a question about video cards. I am planning to install
a good one in my rev 1 desktop beige G3 (433mhz, 256 mb ram, 6 mb vram,
OS9.1).
The only PCI card I currently have is a USB card, so 2 empty slots.
I found and downloaded the driver for 3dfx's Voodoo5 card from
http://www.voodoofiles.com/3510 - so will have it ready if I get one of
those (checking ebay auctions). A Radeon 7000 also has been recommended- I
read (from owc's site I think) that OS 9.2.1 is needed for this Radeon card
(to have Open GL I believe). Can someone confirm this? Can I download a free
update of 9.1 to 9.2.1 if so? and where?
