Hi Bob, I just manipulated a .dmg file in OSX, copied it to the OS9 partition to burn it using an older, OSX unsupported CD-RW (Pinnacle RCD 5040). My first attempt did not make a bootable image, but my second just might. For Brother printers, try a Google search (websites and groups (i.e. newsgroups)) using a search string such as "Brother OSX drivers", etc. Best, George (This message does not contain any philosophical material)
