Hmm, a DP G4 450 is quite a machine, perhaps just max out the RAM as it is so cheap (if you are running X, definately do this), then maybe a better graphics card, followed by better hard-drivers, but really you should find the machine as it is adequate for most needs, is there anything specific you wish to use the machine for? (eg video encoding or word-processing)
