It may not seem the best idea, but if you are that worried, stick a old hard drive in there, install say 8.1/8.6/9.2.2 whatever you have the disks for.
You only have to copy the office folder across, it installs extensions on its first boot. Then copy their docs across. Like I said, its not perfect, but it will work.
