Yesterday and today I started getting the error message quoted in the subject line. The alert box also says "you may need to install a newer version of "NameRegistry...." It just happened after IE5.1.6 quit on me and I tried re-opening it. Once this happens, I get the same message when trying to open up most other applications. I have to restart the computer to get it working again. I'm using OS9.1. I have OSX on a separate partition. Anybody seen this error message, or have an idea what to do about it? I'm thinking I should re-install my system, but I was hoping for an easier solution. The only thing I've done differently recently is to install Microsoft Office 98. Is this further evidence that Microsoft sux, or just a coincidence?
