I have trouble with my Mac Radeon, so I don't think it's the default video
driver in 10.2, but you never know. I've been leaning towards IDE corruption
since my board is Rev. A, but I am having trouble digging up a HD that does
not support DMA. Does anyone know a fix that will work in the Open Firmware?

--- end of quote ---
I had mentioned X 1.2 instability on my Beige mintower with a G4 zif. Last
night I installed my new Radion 7000 and used the newest version of the October
software revisions. The machine chugged all night on iDVD encoding. Previously
it would have crashed in 15 minutes or less.

Having cruised the Apple Beige discussion list looking for answers, I get the
feeling that a lot of Jaguar problems come from old video drivers.

I hope I've got mine ready to go.

(Came to work and the 7600 here was fried. Ain't it the truth. Fell like I
spend my life waiting for Macs to reboot.)
