Hi All,

I have a B&W G3/350 running with 2 internal HD (6GB- original & 60 GB-
new Maxtor), OS 8.6 and 192 MB RAM. I want to start doing regular weekly
back-ups of my system & files and am thinking of getting an external
firewire hard drive to do the job (rather than spend a ton on Zips).
Does anyone have some suggestions on which Ext. FW drives are the most
reliable and affordable? What about the LaCie Pocket drives? And will
I need to update my Firewire? I've heard there is an upgrade patch that
should be downloaded before using FW in the B&W...is that true?

thanks in advance,
Sue
