The smiling Mac is alive and well with a nifty piece of freeware called 
"Hello Jaguar" from Fishback software. Very slick little program. It 
also provides the means to switch back to the default if you decide the 
smiling Mac is too jurassic for a modern mac. <G>

I'm running 10.2.2 and  the smiling Mac is still here. <G>
