A list

Is there
a maximum number of songs which can be stored in iTunes?

Reply: The exclamation points indicate that the path to the folder
containing
your mp3 files is incorrect. What caused this you have to ask
yourself, but to
locate them again simply double click one or more missing titles and
navigate to the
  correct folder.
If that doesn't work for the entire collection a "bulk processing"
method would
be to locate them via "Find," make sure they are all there, select and
then "clear"
your library of the titles and then drag all your songs back in, which
will create
the proper path. Whether this will properly repopulate your Playlists
is problematical.
Review the iTunes Help screens and check the MacFixit Forums that
pertain for
  more specific tips.
Good luck - iTunes can get trickier as you progress through versions
to iTunes
  3. As to song storage limitations someone else may have the answer.
