You don't.  Norton is absolute GARBAGE.  They have been selling *junk* to
people (mostly newbie users who get duped into believing that it is a good
util for their mac) for years.  Their products should be illegal IMHO.  They
cause more problems than they fix.

Alsoft has verified that their Disk warrior can be run on an OS X partition.
Just boot from the disk and run it as you would have run in OS 9.  Disk
warrior, unlike Norton, is a fine product.  The only utilities I use besides
the Apple internal tests are:

Diskwarrior
Tech Tool Pro
Disk First Aid
Intech's Hard Disk Speedtools (best disk driver software out there.
Absolutely *smears* FWB's Hard Disk Toolkit and Silverlining).
