My set-up: Beige G3/300 DT (Rev B ROM), 256, OS10.2 on HD1 (ATA bus 0), OS9.1 on HD2 (ATA bus 1), internal 12xSCSI Matshita CD Drive (Apple ROM, pulled from a 7600), external Yamaha SCSI CD-RW (older 4x2x4) driven by Toast 5.1.4 from OS9.1.
I burned 3 sessions on a CD using Toast in OS9.1. All verified OK, all 3 mount from either CD drive when booted from 9.1. Here's the strange part: when I boot into 10.2, the internal CD drive will only mount the first session. But when I put the CD into the Yamaha burner, all 3 sessions mount (presumably a Toast CD driver controls the Yamaha, as I have run the Toast 5.1.4 updater and it installed something into the OS10.2 drive, I just have not tried burning from 10.2 yet). Can anyone confirm that the CD driver in 10.2 will mount only the first session of a multisession CD? David S. -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
