Talk to OWC. They propose to know how to make them work ... >> I have two, and both work fine in my Beige G3/266 DT (Rev. C), after a lot of fiddling. The problem appears to be that the cards aren't seen by ASP, although ATTO's firmware updater can certainly see them. I can't say with certainty that the original firmware doesn't work as I FLASHed them both with ATTO's latest and greatest firmware before I tried them with UW drives. And, it was only then that the problems started. I believe the problem was traceable to the drives themselves, as I has setup that machine to perform incoming inspection on a box full of 18.3 GB UW-SCSI drives. Naturally, the first two out of the box turned out to be defective. It's THE LAW, you know. The good drives have since been transferred to a Beige G3/533 MT, and they are working very well, thank you, on an ATTO single-channel card. All initialization and certification was done on the ATTO dual-channel cards. -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
