 It isn't very good. Connections tend to break, it seems pretty brittle 
against static, and you often get very low connect speeds. It's not just the 
jurassic wiring of my house ('50s vintage) that causes problems, but also the 
modem itself...I am 100% convinced of this. When you compare the internal 
Apple-branded Yosemite modem to other modems, it seems to not be able to hold 
a connection as well and the connection is slower than, for instance, the 
Best Data external v90 modem I had running on another machine.

Mediocre at best.
