I wish that any card that works under 9 would work under Jaguar.  I have 
tried D-Link DFE-530TX+ and SMC SMC1244TX fast ethernet cards and get 
nowhere.

D-Link tech support replied "According your problem described to us, here 
is our recommend solution: the card don't work with 10.2, only 8.6 - 10.1.5".

SMC sent me a beta driver and then the guy who originally responded seemed 
to fall off the face of the earth (his email address bounced).  The SMC 
customer service "forwarded your email to our level 2 techs here so they 
can see what your problem is", but I haven't heard back from them in a 
week, even after I sent customer service a follow up email.

I guess I'll have to drop some more cash and look for an Apple branded card 
to get this to work. :-(
