Now that Im out of the PCI buiz. (I'll miss ya 'ole Blue) Im in need of an AGP card (gosh I like sound of that)..the 16mb AGP Rage is pretty bad...at least compared to my Radeon PCI using the pci slot. As usual the prices of Mac cards are depressing compared to the same card in a PC configuration.... a few xtra bucks sure, but not almost 100% more. I need to stay with Ati for the DVD playback, so a Geforce isnt an option at this time.
Ive read quite a bit on flashing certain PC/8500 models with Mac roms/etc... 64mb versions and in a few cases 128mb models. I was wondering if anyone on the list has actually flashed a pc card to mac like we did with the old 3dfx's.
