Hi all,
I have a G3 300 DT and I have replaced the original CD Drive with a
Sony CRX140E. That was easy, but getting the burner to burn is
another challenge all together ... HELP !!
The syptomns:
CD player reads fine.
iTunes burns audio disks fine
Disk Burner fails when burning data - either machine locks up or if
not it reports
"There was a problem with the target device."
Error code -7925
and produces a coaster.
I have downloaded DragonBurn which recognises the player/burner but
also locks up when burning, and also produces a coaster.
NTI, authors of DragonBurn suggest that I need a firmware upgrade to
1.0p, but I can only find this for Windoze.
The patient:
G3 300DT with Zip, 128Mb, 6Gb
OS9.2.2
Sony CRX140E IDE CD/CDR/CDRW
driver version 1.4.7
Vitual memory on or off (makes no difference)
Apple System Profiler reports thqt Apple Disc burning is supporting
So, Doctors, what is your diagnosis ?
