Hi all, hope this isn't too off-topic; if so, by all means kill the
thread, accept my apologies, then beat me with a stick.

My G4/DA currently has a 40gig Western Digital HDD, but I just found a
great deal on the 80gig with 8MB cache. I'd like to switch it out to
the latter, and transfer the OS and all data. My plan is to use the
current 40gig HDD in an AMD/ WinXP system that I'm building, but I'm
concerned that I may encounter problems since the drive is currently
formatted in HFS+, and I have zero experience formatting a drive for
PC. I do know that you can't format a Mac iPod into a Windows iPod, and
this is where my concern is coming from. Should I be worried, or is
there anything I should do to make the process easier, or should I be
concerned at all?

Thanks for any insight,
__Chrys
