Burning DVDs - I believe Pioneer has the 'most'

If yuo want to burn DVDs using iDVD, which is wonderful, by the way, you need an
INTERNAL superdrive. The superdrive is a Pioneer DV-103 or 104 (or the 105 if
it is out yet. The consumer versions of these drives are A3 and A4 but they are
identical drives. No other drives are recognized by the software.

The good news is that the 104 is going for about $250, maybe less by now, is
easy to install by replacing the internal cd drive, plug and play. It burns cds
at 8x which isn't bad. I bought 50 DVDs with cases for about $58 on the
internet. It all works great in my Beige with a G4 466, 7000 Radeon.

This stuff, including playing dvds on Beige macines, has been discussed in
detail on this list in the last couple of months and you can probably find the
messages in the digest...maybe ask the listmom how. If not, email me privately.
