Also, MAKE SURE your firewire enclosure is Oxford 911 compliant!!!  I've run 
into professional software that will not save properly on firewire drives 
with enclosures that are not 911.  Very frustrating to say the least.  You 
can till can use them but nowdays and for the future it's a MUST standard.   
Just finished making some new firewire 911 hardware enclosures with 120gig 
drives in and made sure my whole network of macs were all 911 and HFS+ for 
maximum performance.
