You in California? If so, visit this URL: http://www.dslextreme.com/ and get a static IP, a liberal Acceptable Use Policy that allows servers for the clueful, is friendly not only to Mac but to Linux and the BSDs too, and a game server for members only! It's an enthusiast-driven ISP. They rule. Haven't had a full outage since I first got DSL through them in June...a little DNS trouble here and there but if you add some secondaries it's no sweat.
