That�s what I figured on removing the LaCie hehe..

For some reason, you CAN flash the firmware via fire wire on a PC but not a
Mac, according to Pioneer's website..
I don�t get it but oh well.. My Pc is a bit out of date and doesn�t have
fire wire, and I bought my LaCie too hastily, and should've waited another
week and got the newer slim revision that also has USB on it..
I hate it when companies do that!
