I had similar problem. I was running 8.6+ and wanted to upgrade to 9+. When I launched 9.1 installer it wouldn't allow me to choose a destination disk. I solved the problem by tracking down a 9.2.1 disk. Thanks, bro. It appears, Apple wants you to purchase the upgrades from 8.6 to 9. After you have 9 on your drive, the updates on the website seem to work fine. > Listers; > Is it possible to get a complete version of OS 9.1 on a CD for > downloading to a PM8500 with 9.0 presently installed? > Or, is there a web location where the complete download can be obtained ? > I've been to the Apple site and downloaded the free upgrade, but it > will not install.
