G'day from Oz, Mick

I've just installed Jaguar, and had real problems with an 5 partition
Ext. USB/Firewire 80 Gig drive in a case.

Damn thing showed up as belonging to each user, and could not be locked,
even from root level. Every user had root level acces while they were
mounted.

Turned out to be the third party formatter. I just shifted files around,
and re-formatted each partition from Jaguar, in turn, then shifted files
back.

Everything is perfect now.

If it's your problem, you might need to format in 9.2.x so the drive
will be seen in OS X.

Hope this helps!

Regards, Santa.
