If it's not overpriced, go for it. As long as there's good contact between the chip and the sink and the sink is made of a material that dissipates heat efficiently, I'm sure it will work fine.
(You don't get much response from Mac uses to processor cooling issues because it hasn't been an issue since the switch to PowerPC. Only overclockers pay much attention to it.
