Invisible files and folders are just that, invisible. Usually because some programmer 
thought it would be necessary inorder to safeguard an application, to make it look 
less cluttered, or to add spyware.

The link below is for a nice little piece of freeware that will allow you to view all 
invisible files, make them visible if you want, and delete them if you choose.

A word of warning. Make sure you know that the invisible file or folder you're 
deleting is not necessary for the proper functioning of a program you use or the OS.
