Interesting. . . maybe I'll get up the nerve to try my 2906 again. I just browsed around Adaptec's info on this SCSI card, and I found no mention of the sort of catastrophic problems it caused in my G4 (OS 9.2.2), but it does have a download for an enhanced driver to take care of the Sleep mode problem and something called a PowerDomain Control Utility. Anyone know anything about that? Like maybe if I use it, can I safely put my SCSI card back in?
