I've never used a 2906 in a Mac (though I have one in the living room to take to work in the morning to put in a PC to replace one that our IS drones threw out when doing an "upgrade"). I installed the PowerDomain Control under OS 9 and opened it, but didn't do anything with it. As I recall, its purpose is to tweak settings on the card, much like you would when loading drivers in some other operating systems. I don't think there's anything sleep-related in there.
It looks to me like what you really need is this: "03/01/00 Adaptec SCSI Card 2906 Driver, version 1.2 This Macintosh driver adds support for the PowerMac G4 deep sleep mode" Which can be obtained from here: <http://www.adaptec.com/worldwide/support/ drivers_by_product.html?sess=no&language=English+US&cat=%2fProduct%2fAVA -2906&prodkey=AVA-2906> On Wednesday, January 1, 2003, at 10:10 PM, Joe Welling wrote: > Interesting. . . maybe I'll get up the nerve to try my 2906 again.
