G'day all from Oz After reading your posts, went straight & downloaded Safari this am Oz time, & immediately found it could not import Netscape bookmarks.
Simple. Import as Favourites into IE, then into Safari. But that meant using Mail as eMail client. Does not import Net. worth a damn. Eventually, chucked every mail folder into Local Folders in Net., & Safari imported that ok. BUT, every bit of mail I'd trashed in 18 months also got imported. Thousands of 'em. Closed Safari & trashed old trash from Finder. No worries. Netscape 7 for X is history. Re. new Apple stuff, 17" portable is fine, if you want one (well, bloody great actually), but where oh where are the new iMacs??? Roll on 19"+ screens.
