If you have ever used Linux with KDE you would have a nice preview of Safari. 
The KDE browser Konqueror is based on the same core as Safari, and has the 
same speedy performance. In fact, if you run Yellow Dog Linux on a Mac, you 
can use KDE and Konqui (as its fans refer to Konqueror) in its natural 
habitat. 

It would be lovely to see tabbed browsing in Konqui too. I suspect it is 
coming.
