Early G3s...the B&W for sure, so I'd expect the beiges to be the same...most of the time couldn't do a master/slave IDE drive configuration. But, they could handle both IDE and SCSI drives, but the ID # had to be different on each drive, regardless of which bus it was on (as I recall).
