That's enough. It actually occupies a lot less than that. With HD's at 
very low prices it's certainly realistic to install a larger HD along 
with the memory. It doesn't take much in the way of images. music and 
video to fill a 6 GB HD.

The other option would be install a Firewire PCI card and use external 
HD's as big as you wish and your budget will tolerate.
