More info... Mac OS 8.6 256MB ram 20G Maxtor (runs great in PM6500) Stock 266 G3/512L2 cache
Belkin USB card w/ HP952 printer, Microtech Card reader, Handspring Cradle (Apple USB setup 1.4) VillageTronic MP850 video card - not using or setup yet. Problem has escalated...put it to sleep last night and now it is DEAD. A couple of restart flashes, no chong. Reseating the CUDA did not do it, nor reseating all cards and connectors on the MB. This is the second time I have seen this problem. First time I assumed the PS, new PS and now same problem. I am starting to think that something on the MB is killing the PS, ie voltage regulator? The board was overclocked by previous user, but is at stock settings now. It is an Apple VRM, no other markings. I may get the Raytheon just to test that part. This problem first occurred without the PCI cards and on original 4G drive as well. At this rate the PS lasts about 5 hours and then seems to be dead. -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
