I need to install os9 onto my computer. Now, my coputer has OS10.2 on it. The only copy of OS9 i have right now is a coy of my original cd wich is at home (i am not home). The copy i made gives me a weird message when botting from it. It says it cannot create the desktop because it is locked. I'm guessing i did somthing wrong when i copied my os9 cd. So i tried copying the whole cd to a partition and starting from that partition but the when i get to the happy mac face, i get a msg saying the system can only be run from it's original media. So i'm stuck and i really need to get into os9.
Does anyone have any idea on how i can get this to work? Maybe there is a file i can remove so that the the partiton i copied the system to will boot? Any help is appreciated. thanx ALex -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
