Hello All Need some help from anyone running Toast 5.2 and an external FW burner on a B&W, or equivalent
Just purchased and installed a LaCie FW 48x24x48 Burner ( Lite-ON guts). Driving it from an Adaptec 4300 PCI-FW Card Burns OK with Disk Copy and I expect it will check out OK with iTunes( when I get to it) ASP indicates "fully supported" Problem is that I also have an internal IDE 24 x 10 x 40 installed When I open Toast 5.2, it only recognizes the IDE Burner I cannot find a Toast 5.2 Preference Panel that would allow me a selection of Burners! Maybe there isn't any? So, before I remove the IDE Burner from my box ( and replace with a 32X CD-ROM from my junk box ) , I have a question Will Toast 5.2 recognize the FW Burner on my B&W ? Thanks to all that reply Albert B&W Yosemite V1 // XLR8 G4 500/ 1MB ZIF // 1024MB RAM PCI Radeon 7000 driving two Monitors (VGA +Apple Multican) PCI SIG Ultra 133/100 IDE Controller-IBM 60GXP 40GB PCI Adaptec 4300 PCI- FW Driver OS X.2.3 -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
