Listers; I have a friend who is running OS8.5 on a UMax C500. The unit will display, open and read standard software CDs, using the stock internal CDROM. However, it will not recognize or play audio CDs. I checked the extensions and found the AudioCD extension in the "extensions disabled" folder. Moved it to the extensions folder and restarted, but no play. I then opened the Mac-All extensions list in Extensions Manager and found AudioCD listed there with the box checked for activation. After restart with duplicated extensions list, still no audio. Any ideas or suggestions as to the solution to this problem ? Any help would be appreciated. -- Lee Freedman CEO, Poverty Computer Users Group
