Forgive me, I can't find the article I had archived that described the minimum
extensions set for 9.2.2 for use as "Classic." I left far too many in. They do
no harm but make boot longer than necessary.

It's apparently a bit of trial and error to get it right, and I haven't done the
work.

Maybe someone else has the details...
It's very well described in David Pogue's; OS X the Missing Manual. That's a good guide for "pruning OS 9 for classic".
