Guys & Gals,

I'm having this desktop G3 with a 4GIG hd and is makes noise enough to make the cat 
nervous. When the drive, a Quantum Fireball, "shifts gears" and spins faster (or 
whatever it is it does from time to time) the entire case hums along with various 
parts of the machine piping in as the spinning changes frequency. It is quite 
irritating. What can be done?
