There is this recent program for OS X called Neo which trys to work off of the kazaa network but I've not really had that much luck with it. It's all about how many users are on any network. Kazaa is the most succesful, so it has the most users. They have been trying to shut it down but due to the way it works, it probably can not because it can have legimate uses but I read recently, that even MS has started to use it.
I recall reading that MS was critized for supported something that is used for lots of illegitate uses but you might just as well try to shut down a road or highway because it transports drugs. It would amount to the same thing. The Music industry, at this point, might do better to try something more creative than charging $20 for a CD, espeically when you only want one song on it. Times have changed. I think sometimes the Music industry worries more about losing their control, than making sure artists get their due which we all want.
