Although it's not a huge difference, I'd start here if I were you.  You 
can never get a truly accurate comparison between two computers with 
differing amounts of RAM.  My iBook "feels" completely different at 128 
as it does at 256 and 384 (and 640 is coming soon).  Particularly with 
awfully slow programs like Limewire.

Much of this might just be "observer's error."  Optimize your hard 
drive, then run a benchmark suite like Xbench to compare the two.  You 
might be surprised just how close they are.
