Dump Limewire and Morpheus? :-/ Those two are huge processor and bandwidth hogs. One client with Morpheus on our network at school saturated our 10 Mb/sec link to the outside world; a reason those and other such file-sharing clients are strictly banned on our schools network. The increased memory will make a difference. You would be surprised to see how quickly OSX and a few applications will chew up 256 megs and ask for more. 256 megs is really the working minimum for OSX...it'll install in 128, but I wouldn't want to try running it in 8. I have maxed out my system (768 mb). I don't know how the cache works on your system, but on mine (beige G3 with a G4 450) I installed Powerlogix cache control software to get the cache working at all.
