I had my combo card (I'm at work and can't remember the brand) working in my G3
Minitower wit the Rev A rom with no problem.

I haven't followed this thread but did someone say there was a hard drive and cd
drive on the same bus with the rev B rom?  I saw it suggested that the ATAPI 
(cd ) drive be the master in such a situation. Also, that the ATAPI bus is
slower than the side that comes with the drive attached.

If you have a slot, you might consider one of the pci ata cards.  They're much
faster than the native bus.

Does anyone know any actual difference beteween rev B and C roms?
