I'm curious if your combo card is a SONNET and if not what brand it is and which OS you are running on your G3 MiniTower. Maybe you can shoot me an E-mail when you get home later today and let me know. This problem is driving me up the wall and I really do now believe that it has something to do with the SONNET Combo card it self. So let me know what you have in your G3 MT and the OS.
I am the one running the two HDs and the CD-RW off the "on-board" slower ATAPI bus because I just don't want to give up my PCI cards and the added features. If I can get this or another combo card to work correctly I may go back to the on-board Apple video connection and pitch the ATI Radeon Mac Edition PCI card and add a PCI ATA card to boost the drive speeds.
