No manual and the software really isn't necessary. (P-mail me and I'll 
send it to you.) There are a couple caveats in its use though.

If you're just using a hub to tie everything together it'll be plug and 
play.  If you're using a router, you'll either need a hub between the 
router and the bridge or you'll need to use the AUI interface on the 
bridge and a tranceiver. (Dunno why, just know that's how it is.)

Straight through cables.

After hooking it all up, cycle power on everything.  Printer last.
