try deleting netscapes' "magiccookie","netscape history", "pop state" and "Cache f"
folders. they all get corrupted after a while. it's also good to delete all of the
.snm files if you use it for email, these are summary files and will automatically be
rebuilt. i've seen the summary files become several times larger than the actual mail
files (one for each of your mail "folders" in netscape), even the trash summary being
large when the trash (mail) folder is 0K. you might also delete the finder
preferences (they also get rebuilt when you reboot) as this solves many problems, and
rebuilding the desktop files rarely hurts if the other suggestions don't help. if it
still causes problems ask again. i assume you've given netscape more ram? it likes
2-3X the normal amount.

"There are reminders to all Americans that they need to watch what they say, watch
what they do, and this is not a time for remarks like that; there never is." White
House Press Secretary Ari Fleischer, how much blood will it take to win back the first
amendment, which the Bush administration clearly does not support! The thought police
are amongst us.
