Hello, maybe someone has the answer I have so faitfully missed lately. I have two of the above mentioned machines. I have pruchased 40gig hard drives, Sonnet G4 upgrades and new RAM for both of them.
The first machine , I put the new hard drive in ..slapped in osx.2 and installed away. Afterwards I upgraded with the Zif Sonnet upgrade and all was well. With the second machine, I have had no such luck. No matter what I try it wont install and OS. Be it 9, 9 something, 10, 10.1 or 10.2 I have even tried mac os ten server and it wont install. Something is obviously wrong and maybe I am just missing the boat here. Should the temination of master/slave be changed on the new hard drive for this particular machine?
